The Information Service is an important part of the Equal Access to Information and Advice Project, which aims to ensure that disabled people have equality of access to high quality information and advice.
Information and advice
The Information Service provides comprehensive and up to date disability information and advice on options largely to disabled people. However, the service is also open to enquiries from carers, members of the public, students and practitioners.
Information is free and confidential on various topics, including:
• Aids and adaptations
• Community care and independent living
• Accessible holidays
• Discrimination and your rights

We can also:
• Provide information in a wide range of formats.
• Signpost to other local, regional and national services.
• Provide assistance to contact other organisations, fill in forms and apply for charitable funding.
• Come and present to your group or organisation.
