Information Services

The Information Service provides free and confidential information on a wide variety of subjects. We welcome enquiries by telephone, e-mail and fax. Enquirers are very welcome to drop in or to make an appointment with DAD's Information Worker, Pauline Gill. Information can be provided on request in a wide range of formats.

The service can sign-post to other statutory, voluntary or private sector services. Pauline can also provide assistance with form filling and letter writing (other than Benefit claims)

Volunteers Needed

The information service has a small number of volunteers. Their tasks include updating and collating information, maintain the central database etc. We currently have vacancies for Volunteer Information Workers to provide information sessions to the public.
