Volunteering
The project recruits and supports volunteers within DAD.
Some of our current volunteer opportunities include:
- Supporting activities.
- DASH Playscheme: DASH provides 3 inclusive play schemes throughout the school holidays to all children, disabled and non-disabled children. DASH promotes a free play structure, but some structured activities are also provided, including indoor and outdoor play sessions, workshops and trips out. We need as many volunteers as possible to support the children at the scheme, please apply as soon as possible so that your re-appointment checks (DBS check etc) are done in time.
Whatever time you have available, we will value your skills and commitment and place you within a project that best suits you.

How you can support us
As a local organisation we very much rely on the support of our local community. We support over 2,000 people every year to have greater choice and control and remove the barriers that disabled adults and children experience in their everyday lives. But we need YOUR help.
