DASH, our play and leisure schemes, run during school holidays and offer a range of fun and exciting activities and trips for children and young people aged 3 -25 years.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group for 14 – 18 year olds runs each Monday evening during term time with activities planned by the young people that come. It’s a relaxed time for young people to spend time together doing the things they want to do.

Mentoring for Independence

Supports young people, aged between 13 and 25 years old, to learn Independent Living Skills, through the transition of being a child, to becoming a young adult.

Young Leaders

Is a group of 14 – 25 year olds who meet each Tuesday evening during term time to share their views and opinions on the issues that are important to young disabled people and influence the development services locally, regionally and nationally.

Volunteering

Our Children and Young People’s Service (ChYPS) offers a range of high quality services and support for children and young people aged between 3 and 25 years old.

As a team, we ensure that children and young people have opportunities to play, have fun, try new things, spend time with their friends, meet new people and make sure that their views, opinions and ideas are listened too.

What we do:

  • Play, leisure and social opportunities
  • Opportunities to share views, opinions and ideas and have your voice heard
  • Courses including Life Skills, Confidence Building, Disability Equality and Independent Living Skills, such as cooking, budgeting and travel training
