Personal Assistant - Job Reference 11574

Job Type: Redcar and Cleveland (PA's)

ARE YOU KIND AND OPEN MINDED?

I am 28 years old and lead a busy life, looking for a PA to support me!

I work in the charity sector in equality, diversity and inclusion. I am also completing a master’s at University of Sunderland. Outside of work and study, I love crafting, gaming and volunteering to support others.

I would like assistance from an adaptable, like minded person, open to learning together. My support is usually meal prep (I'm vegan!), general household duties, and will involve helping me with planning and executive functioning. I also need some support in the community such as shopping and appointments. I may need some limited personal care, but this varies and we would discuss and learn together.

I have a dog so you will need to be comfortable with animals. He's very sweet but he does bark if anyone knocks on the door!

You will need to drive, but don’t need a car. You will be supporting me by driving my own automatic wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Ideally my support would be weekday evenings and one weekend daytime. This is currently for 14 hours a week with some flexibility over the days and times.

Do you think that this sounds like something you could do, to make a difference in my life and support me to help others? Then apply to be my PA!

You will receive training as well as having the opportunity to gain more knowledge with various opportunities.  You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check as a part of the role, but this will be fully paid for.

Personal Assistant - Job Reference 9626

Job Type: Redcar and Cleveland (PA's)

Could you be the person who helps make G’s week brighter?

We’re looking for a Personal Assistant for our 23‑year‑old son, G — a gentle, easy‑going young man who loves routine, new experiences, and getting out and about. He’s a fantastic listener, picks things up quickly, and brings a real calmness to those around him.

G loves weekly cinema trips, going to a social disco, days out, meals out, and his beloved drumming sessions — which sadly had to stop when he no longer had a PA. We’d love to restart these with your support.

Routine is important for G, so there are a few fixed weekly activities, but we also enjoy adding a bit of variety when we can. Sometimes you’ll collect G from his local centre, which he thoroughly enjoys.

G can be cautious around dogs and balloons, but don’t worry — we will give you plenty of support and guidance before you start working independently.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking G out to places he enjoys
  • Helping to create fun, engaging activities
  • Weekly disco and cinema trips
  • Meals out together
  • Supporting his hobbies and confidence

Hours & Pay:

16 hours per week | £12.71 per hour

  • Monday afternoon: Centre pickup + drumming
  • Tuesday: 4pm–9pm – Disco evening
  • Thursday: Flexible hours each week
  • Saturday afternoon: Cinema & dinner outing

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Kind, patient, caring and fun
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good at communicating
  • Willing to learn and use initiative
  • Creative with activities
  • A driver with your own vehicle

Enhanced DBS, references and interview required.

If this sounds like you, please get in touch — we’d love to talk.
